We stayed a week at the beach and had the best vacation ever! We had no plans and just wanted to lounge, and this great property allowed us to do just that.

Close to everything, we walked down and had the best lasagna at Marino's (old-style, authentic Italian place and so so good!) and took nice long strolls along the beach every morning.

The apartment was cozy and cute, with all the perfect amenities. You can tell there was a lot of thought that went into getting this place ready for renters. We've stayed at very fancy hotels across the US, and this place was just as nice, accommodating and perfect. Everyone I talked to at GEVP was kind and efficient. We will definitely come and stay again!

Very comfortable and cute. Clean, new, quiet and private. The porch with grill was nice. The unit was smaller than expected from looking at the photo, but still very comfortable and worked great for 3 adults and 3 children. We expected it to be a bit closer to the beach. It was a little far with kids in tow.

The 2-bedroom Diamond apartment in PB was perfect for my husband and I for our week's stay in late March 2009. We were joined for the last 2 nights by 2 friends and their daughter and it was fine for that length of time but might have been a bit cramped had they been there the full week. However, for 2 adults and a couple of kids, it would be perfect (really, it was just having only one bathroom that would be an issue for larger groups, and maybe that's no big deal for some).
The apartment is very nicely decorated, great kitchen (with all the necessary dishes, cooking utensils, appliances, etc.), nice beds and bathroom. The little patio is very nice - great place to bbq and sit for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Also, it's nice to have off-street parking because parking is at a premium in PB - the garage is a bit tight but we managed fine with a Kia Sportage. We enjoyed the neighbourhood very much - close enough to PB activities, but not too close as it can get a bit rambunctious at the bars later at night. There were some great restaurants close by and lots of grocery stores to choose from (Trader Joe's, Henry's, Ralph's). The property manager, Patti, was very responsive to our needs and only a phone call away - we only needed her once but she helped us out (re. internet access - she found a solution to the issue) - other than that we didn't have to get in touch with her because everything was in order in the apartment and was just as described on the website.
Enjoyed: Pacific Beach Ale House, Filippi's Pizza & Pasta, great Thai take-out at ra-ka-de-ka around the corner. Also Broken Yolk (a short drive away) had an excellent breakfast.
